DARK, TERRIBLE FUTURE

OK so maybe the title of this post is a tad dramatic but you have to admit that as a college graduation approaches and you have no idea what you'll be doing after said graduation that a little apprehension is acceptable. At the moment I know that more schooling is not in any way what I want to do. This includes both nursing and a masters program. No. Nuh uh. Thanks but no thanks. I can barely keep myself motivated to see this thing through until December, let alone for X amount of additional years. I really love working in my micro labs, especially running ELISAs and creating monoclonal antibodies in the immunology lab, and thus I am leaning towards a career in either medical microbiology or industrial microbiology. Of course, as you all know, I change my mind about my future plans almost hourly, so who knows how long this decision will last. Granted once I work for a few years perhaps I'll want to earn a masters so that I can attain a higher position in the company and thus earn more $$$... we'll see what happens.

Enough rambling about that. My wonderful new toy arrives in approximately 48 hours and I couldn't be more excited. Not only will I now have a dutch oven to play with, but my new roommates have a nice blender I can use to puree soups and such. Mmmm... a whole new culinary district has finally opened up for me. Don't you even get me started on the gas stove. *excited girl squeal*
